Our Story

VitalSpring was born from a simple but unsettling realisation: most Australians have no idea what's actually in their tap water.

Our founder had been drinking tap water their whole life without a second thought — until a deep dive into Australian water quality reports revealed the truth. Ageing infrastructure, PFAS contamination from legacy industrial sites, residual chlorine and chloramines, lead leaching from old pipes, and rising microplastic counts in major city water supplies. The water meets regulatory minimums. But minimums aren't the same as clean.

The options on the market were frustrating. Pitcher filters were slow and took up fridge space. Under-sink systems meant calling a plumber and spending thousands. Bottled water was expensive, wasteful, and not actually better regulated than tap water.

There had to be a smarter way.

The VitalSpring Filter

We spent months researching faucet filtration technology before finding the solution we actually wanted to use ourselves: a multi-stage ceramic and activated carbon filter with a built-in LCD display — powered entirely by the water flowing through it. No batteries. No charging. No guessing whether it's working.

The LCD shows your water temperature in real time and counts down your filter life from 100% to 0%. A blue LED confirms filtered mode is active. It installs in under 60 seconds on almost any standard Australian tap — no plumber, no tools, no landlord permission needed.

We launched VitalSpring because we believe clean drinking water shouldn't require a plumber, a huge budget, or a chemistry degree. It should be as simple as turning on your tap.

Our Mission

To make genuinely clean drinking water accessible to every Australian household — simply, affordably, and without waste. We're committed to transparency about what our filters remove, how long they last, and what you're actually drinking.

Because your family deserves better than the minimum.
